Addis Aemero 

Ethiopia 

Addis Aemero is an Ethiopian photographer. She is a member of Women Photograph, a catalog of independent women and nonbinary photojournalists dedicated to amplifying the perspectives of visual storytellers globally, and African Women Photograph, a platform celebrating the work of African Women & Non-Binary Photographers. Addis Aemero has showcased her work globally, including exhibitions in Athens, Oslo, the UAE, Ethiopia, and Abidjan Côte d’Ivoire. She was mentored by renowned Ethiopian photographer Aida Muluneh, and worked on the organizing team for the Addis Foto Fest,  the biggest photography festival in East Africa. She has served as an official photographer to Ethiopia's first female president, Sahle-Work Zewde, and currently, Addis operates as a freelance photographer.

Ahmed Mustafa

Egypt

Ahmed Mustafa, 26, is a documentary photographer from Qena Governorate in Egypt. He developed a strong passion for photography over the past five years, learning photography from friend Mahmoud Hawary, a notable documentary photographer in Egypt. Mustafa aims to share his best personal work with the world.


Lawrence Agyei

Ghana

Based in Chicago, Lawrence Agyei is a visual storyteller shaped by his cross-continental upbringing. With influences from his Ghanaian heritage and Italian background, Agyei's work explores multiculturalism, highlighting Black culture and its people, combining documentary photography with portraiture and fashion. Agyei has collaborated with various companies and publications, including Apple, Nordstrom, Teen Vogue, Adobe, Vanity Fair, Studio Magazine, Rolling Stone, and The New York Times. His work has been featured in international exhibitions, such as The New Black Vanguard and The Promised Land. Recognized as one of the "30 New and Emerging Photographers to Watch" by i-D in 2020, Agyei received the Booooooom Photo Book Award in 2022 for his photo series DRILL.

Melissa Alcena

The Bahamas 

Melissa Alcena is a Bahamian portrait and documentary photographer based between the Bahamas and NYC. Through her exploration of the Bahamian landscape, Alcena documents people in situations natural to them, exploring culture and visual narratives of the Caribbean. Alcena’s photographs are reflective of kinship and an ode to the landscape.

Nigeria

Benson Ibeabuchi is a highly skilled photojournalist and filmmaker, who works with a dedication to capture impactful stories from around the world. He has extensive experience working for international brands and news agencies such as Agence France-Presse (AFP), Vice News, Bloomberg, Getty Images, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Financial Times, among others. He has documented challenging locations of events ranging from natural disasters to political uprisings to daily life in crisis-ridden communities. In recognition of authenticity and emotional impact, Benson received a nomination for the 2020 Guardian Agency Photographer of the Year award. He strives to bring attention to pressing global issues and to amplify the voices of the unheard, and in his work as a filmmaker has produced insightful documentaries.

Emmanuel Boakye-Appiah is a creative professional based in Boston; he is a photographer, cinematographer, and digital marketer. He is an adept skill at brainstorming, picture retouching, color grading, and video editing.

Josef Adamu, born and raised in Toronto, is a Creative Director and Consultant based in New York. He is a founder of Sunday School Creative, a brand firm focused on developing creative campaigns and content marketing that has worked with brands such as Meta, Nike, Spotify, and Converse. Adamu has also worked with companies such as The New York Times, The Economist, and The Guardian. Rachel Seidu is a visual artist based in Lagos, working with photography and film to create intimate and emotive portraits that capture diverse stories and realities. Her artistic practice involves technical exploration, experimenting with shadows, contrast, and natural lighting. Seidu is a member of Black Women Photographers and the African Photojournalism Database. O'shane Howard is a Canadian photographer, director, and creative director based in Toronto. O'shane is known for creating heart-centered stories that prioritize emotion, education, and culture. Collaborative in his approach, he values working with other creatives to refine the final product. His work has been featured in publications such as Women’s Wear Daily, Forbes, Vogue Italia, and CNN Africa. O'shane has collaborated with notable brands like Tedx Toronto, Nike, Adidas, Appleton Estate, GymShark, Universal Music Group, IKEA, Footlocker Canada, and several others. Emmanuel Yeboah “Bob Pixel” Bobbie

Ghana

Emmanuel Yeboah Bobbie, commonly known as Bob Pixel, was a Ghanaian professional photographer and graphic designer. He extensively documented funerals and festivals. Bob Pixel collaborated with notable figures, including M.anifest, John Dumelo, Yvonne Nelson, Menaye Donkor, and Jackie Appiah. His achievements included a nomination for Photographer of the Year in the 2021 Entertainment Achievement Awards, and he was set to participate in the 2021 International Fashion Week in Amsterdam. The story-teller and photographer was one of Ghana's most notable figures in the world of photography.


Cameroon/Senegal 

Mahine Sef is a filmmaker, producer, and director of Cameroonian-Senegalese origin. Over the past five years, he has ventured into the film and communication industry, becoming a sought-after director working with artists such as Davido, Memphis Depay, Tayc, Dadju, Wiz Khalifa, and Runtown across various genres. Mahine's focus lies in capturing unique nuances through films and creative direction. His perseverance is rooted in accommodating and embracing people, valuing their individuality. Notably, he has directed numerous street clips through his production and communication company, launched in 2019.


Kristin Bethge

Germany 

Kristin Bethge is a German photographer based in Rio de Janeiro and Berlin. She focuses on vibrant colors, light, contrasts, and the interplay of form and color. In her work, she immerses herself in her surroundings, exploring the stories of people she encounters and capturing intricate details. Kristin collaborates with All in Awe and is part of Women Photograph.

Amanuel Sileshi

Ethiopia

Amanuel Silesh is a photojournalist based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He captures the impact of conflict, war, and political reform and development on human societies. He has worked for NGOs, and is a stringer for Agence France-Presse, based in Ethiopia. He is a member of the World Press Photo Foundation and Everyday Africa's African Photojournalism Database. Sileshi has also participated in the 2021 Canon Student Development Programme, an elite education project for photography-focused students that emphasizes visual storytelling. His works have appeared in numerous global publications such as The Guardian, El País, The Irish Times, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Economist, Financial Times, and The Washington Post. He has been the recipient of several awards including 3rd place in East Africa photography Award 2021, All About photo 2021 Winner, Honorable mention Award from World Press Photo 2022, Honorable mention From International Photography Award 2022, and 1st Prize in East Africa photography Awards 2022.
